Melted by laser cutting


In laser fusion cutting, the workpiece is partially melted by means of air flow ejected molten material. Because material occurs only in its liquid state cases, so the process is called melted by laser cutting.


Laser beam with high pure cutting inert gas melting of the materials left slit, and the gas itself is not involved in cutting. Melted by laser cutting than vaporization and higher cutting speeds can be obtained. Gasification energy required is usually higher than the energy required to melt material. Melted by laser cutting, laser beam only partially absorbed. Maximum cutting speed increases as the laser power increases, with the plate thickness increase and almost in inverse proportion to the increased melting temperature of the material decreases. In the case of laser power, limiting factor is the cutting pressure and thermal conductivity of the material. Melted by laser cutting for steel materials and titanium oxide incision-free can be obtained. Melting, but not to the pneumatization of the laser power density, steel material, between the 104W/cm2~105 W/cm2.
